Chamber of Commerce discusses U.S. tax reform
After the U.S. tax reform bill was passed on Dec. 22 by President Donald Trump, it is expected to have a significant impact on individuals, businesses and multinational companies doing business with the United States.
The Windsor-Essex Regional Chamber of Commerce organized a seminar with auditor KPMG on U.S. tax reform. The seminar focused on possible actions that an individual can take to address these changes.
They also covered topics like individual tax rates, standard and itemized deductions to name few.
Both small and big businesses participated in the discussion which was followed by a question and period session.
Among the panelists was tax lawyer Ranvir Chana who also discussed the impact of the new tax reform and how to set up a new business.
The president of Windsor- Essex Regional Chamber of Commerce Matt Marchand said it’s really important for all the investors to know about the new tax reforms and how to benefit from it.
